Mommy & Me Fitness is hosting our third annual 5K Run/Walk and...
adding a Family Fun Relay!
Come one, come all and experience a family friendly 5k race Mommy & Me Fitness style! Dads, moms, teens, kids and little babes...bring along the stroller and your running shoes for a fun race! Spread the word of our exciting day which not only includes our 5k race, but a NEW Family Fun Relay!
Date: Saturday, October 6th
Location: Lexington Bike Trail. Starting line at the new Heartland Church building on the corner of Lexington-Springmill and Hanley.
- Race Day Registration - 9:00 a.m.
- 5k Run - 10:00 a.m.
- Family Fun Relay - 11:00
Early registration: Open from June 13 - September 21Early Registration Closed
- Individual 5k - includes one t-shirt $15 (Late registration - $20 t-shirt not guaranteed)
- Family Relay Registration - includes two 5k runners, full family participation in family relay, two adult t-shirts $35 (Late registration - $40 t-shirt not guaranteed)

5K Run/Walk: is not your typical running event. In the true spirit of Mommy & Me Fitness, strollers are permitted. This event is not only open to the whole family, but all runners and walkers who are interested in supporting a great cause! Awards will go to the top finishers in age categories.
Family Relay Race: The family relay registration allows your whole family (members of one household) to participate in the Family Fun Relay! As a bonus, 2 of your family members can also participate in 5k Run/Walk. The Family Relay registration reserves 2 adult t-shirts. Extra kids t-shirts are available for order on the registration page. Awards will go to the top finishers in each category: 2 adults & 1 child; 1 adult & 2 children; 3 children. No strollers on this race, each member will be participating! While still competitive, this race will bring some good laughs, so invite the grandparents to come video the event!
Relay Teams: The relay race will total one mile and will be evenly divided between 3 legs. Members of the family can divide into 3 groups to run the 3 legs. For example; you can have mom run one leg of the relay, dad run one leg of the relay, and the son run the last leg of the relay. Or, you can pair up with your family members. An example may look like this; mom and daughter run one leg of the relay, dad and son run one leg of the relay, and brother and sister run the last leg of the relay. However you would like to divide the legs of the relay is up to you!
