I would love to know the answer to that question. I don't like grapefruit but since my juicing and fast I have come to appreciate it and usually let it sit and ripe a while longer than most people would. Plus I buy the ruby reds.

Nice post. I have found there are quite a few excellent bodyweight exercises anyone can execute without equipment. These exercises are great for toning the body in addition to boosting fitness. When on the road and staying in hotels I use tricep dips, bodyweight squats, press ups, burpees and mountain climbers. All effective exercises for keeping fit and toned.

Hi Val ! There are no “fat-burning” foods. If so I would have my house full of them! My best advice is to maintain a balanced diet and be sure to include a variety of fruits and veggies. As I listed above Grapefruits have so many health benefits but speeding up metabolism isn’t one of them. This brings a great question to light, what does affect our metabolism? Come back I will add new post on this soon.

I love grapefruit and my kiddos sometimes enjoy them as well (they seem to go through phases :o)). I slice them in half and cut the sections away from the membranes...then sprinkle with a little brown sugar. When we're done we squeeze out the juice that's left and drink that...sometimes pour it into our OJ to tone it down a bit if it's too tart. Super yummy. I've heard that grapefruit has the ability to maintain and/or increase your rate of metabolism. Do you know if there is any validity to that, Angie??
